Jessica Notini
Experience
Jessica Notini is a Senior Consultant with Accordence and also teaches negotiation, mediation and alternative dispute resolution to both law and business students as an Adjunct Professor at Stanford Law School, Boalt School of Law, Hastings College of the Law, University of San Francisco Law School, SFSU Executive Business Management Program and Mills College MBA Program. In addition, she is the Principal of a mediation and facilitation services company.
With her consulting practice, she has developed and led sessions for both private entities and public institutions in the areas of negotiation, mediation, conflict resolution, leadership & influencing, team-building and communication skills. She has adapted these programs to the needs of a wide variety of professionals including project managers, division leaders, human resources personnel, judges, attorneys and administrators.
As a fluent Spanish speaker, she has also provided negotiation and mediation training in Spain, Peru, Ecuador and Mexico, and she has served as a consultant to the Congress of Peru regarding the development of mediation legislation. Ms. Notini served as keynote speaker and workshop leader for the First and Second Annual Congresses on Mediation in México and for Second International Congress on Extrajudicial Mediation for the Ministry of Justice and the School of Law, San Martín de Porres, Lima, Perú.
As a facilitator, Ms. Notini also assists public and private entities seeking to organize work on complex and controversial projects, develop clear missions, resolve budgetary issues and improve teamwork.
Ms. Notini served for three years as President of the Association for Dispute Resolution of Northern California (formerly NCMA) and served on the Board of Directors for the Mediation Society of San Francisco. She is past Chair of the California State Bar ADR Committee and belongs to a number of bar associations and other local and national professional organizations. Known as a subject matter expert, she has also routinely presented at events held by the Association for Dispute Resolution, the American Bar Association, and the Alameda County Bar Association. Prior to this work, Ms. Notini practiced environmental law.
