New ICON® Negotiation Approach E-Module

Preview the new ICON® Negotiation Approach E-Module

Burlingame, CA 4/25/05 Accordence and Option Six have launched a revolutionary learning tool that enhances people's ability to negotiate collaboratively and successfully through a simple and memorable framework: ICON®.

The ICON Negotiation Approach e-module is a 90-minute self-paced, self-directed online course. It is intended to create a solid foundation of knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for applying the ICON negotiation method. The ICON Negotiation Approach e-module employs a problem-based learning approach that enables learners to select their own paths and derive their own motivation for acquiring course content. This e-module can be used as a standalone to provide a strategic approach to negotiation as well as part of a blended learning solution with onsite application, consultation, and preparation. Grande Lum, Managing Director of Accordence, Inc. says "I'm excited to share this e-module with our clients because of the succinct manner in which it teaches our negotiation approach. Now when we work onsite, it allows us to provide deeper coaching and consulting on company challenges and opportunities in addition to skill enhancement."

The e-learning program uses Option Six's Performance-Driven Learning to produce an engaging learning experience. "The usage of realistic scenarios and problem-based instruction produces an authentic environment for learning", says Melissa Carter, vice president of instructional design at Option Six. "Accordence has been a great development partner," adds Bill West, president and founder of Option Six, "we both share the desire to produce the finest online learning program possible; no compromises. The result has been an enthusiastic approval by the initial clients".
