Just Negotiate® Enters the Virtual Classroom

Accordence® has designed a negotiation course that will virtually captivate learners!  The agenda is based entirely on the well-honed components of its flagship 2-day course entitled Just Negotiate®. Our experienced consultants conduct live training sessions for organizations through advanced web technology, allowing participants to quickly adapt to the virtual environment and gain full advantage of the content, tools, and interactive sessions.

Just like in a normal classroom, participants will raise their hands in response to instructor-led questions, post questions to a chat board, engage in breakout sessions with colleagues, view slides and video clips, contribute to white board content, and role play negotiations via audio conference lines.

The virtual version of the workshop is a fast-paced, highly interactive session in which people at all levels of an organization improve their negotiation skills and their ability to achieve successful agreements. During the workshop, participants learn the ICON Negotiation Framework (Interests, Criteria, Options, No-agreement alternatives) with which to prepare, conduct and review negotiations. They integrate this framework into a simple, powerful 4D Negotiation Strategy for understanding and planning different phases of a negotiation, test their assumptions and personal negotiating style, and experiment with alternative possibilities.

Both virtual and on-site instructor-led workshops are tailored to the particular audience such as sales, procurement or executives and to the participants' specific goals. Our advance preparation includes incorporating customized content through client interviews, collaborative workshop design, and feedback. From this data, we integrate scenarios that replicate the dynamics of their negotiations. We can also build on the training program and work on application and reinforcement through virtual coaching and consulting. This may be especially helpful in working with intact teams.
